WOW What a Wonderful Day We had Today!!!

KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 1-8TH GRADE
CURRENT NEEDS:
5X Chalkboards = $500
2.) 100 Chairs for students = $850
3.) 50 desks = $3,000
4.) Paper for students = $850
5.) Water Pump = $500
6.) 2 Stove plates to cook children's food on = $65
7.) Fence - this is a huge need there is barbed wire
laying all over the
ground around the school...it must be properly fenced
in...=$6,000 ANY
BUILDERS OUT THERE???
8.) Telephone landline = $100 for initial service
9.) Kit for Net ball and soccer gym equipment = $700
10.) Material for school uniforms to be sewn =for 200
students is $600
11.) Need Sewing machine $350
12) 14 heaters for the school rooms.
THE
TEACHERS ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS INCLUDING THE PRINCIPAL. THE PRINCIPAL SAID SHE WOULD LOVE IF SHE COULD FIND SOME SPONSORS TO HELP PAY THEIR SALARIES.
$350 A MONTH
PER TEACHER IS WHAT IS NEEDED...AND ABOUT $1000 A MONTH
FOR ELECTRICITY AND RUNNING OF SCHOOL. HOPE THIS
HELPS GIVE SOME PERSPECTIVE AND PRAYER INCENTIVE FOR YOU

Thursday, Liberty in the Spirit wired us a "cash
gift" to help with our children's outreach in
Africa!! WOW !! So today I got up early early early and
went to the shops and got food and toys and took them to
the school in the Squatter Camp.We also took along the
plates, cups and bowls. Oh my gosh, we left with
the entire school in 7th Heaven!!! There was such
rejoicing. I have never seen children soooooooo happy!!!
The entire school lined up in long lines in
anticipation. First we gave them each their Christmas
stocking filled with sweets. Then came a second line. This
time they all got a cold drink and something to eat.
Then came the third time they lined up and each one was
given a toy! Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Some of these children,
most of them , had never had a toy before in their life! We gave each one a bottle of bubbles. They had never blown
bubbles before. It was so much fun teaching them and so
beautiful to see hundreds of bubbles all over the school
and out side in the yard around the school
the children were blowing bubbles.
It was a sight to see!I thought when I was driving
home, I bet GOD was just so pleased to look down and see
this beautiful sight, his creation playing and so happy
amidst a cloud of bubbles!
I took a friend to help me.
He was absolutely shocked. He said he has never
seen such poverty in his life. Many of the children looked
like they had never bathed before - obviously because
there is no water. The only water tank there is a box with
a spiked they use for the school.
I think I told you last time about the non-existent
toilets, they just dig a hole and when it is full, they
dig another one, then put a little metal frame around it.
WE HAVE TO HELP THEM WITH DECENT TOILETS and they
have a bore hole but cannot get the water, they need a
pump put in. This
another prayer need! They need almost $500 to purchase the
water pump and have someone hook it up to work. We were
also able to give each of the 8 volunteer teachers a
beautiful gift and each of the men workers 4 of them a
special treat too! So it was a glorious day!!
I spoke to Roger Williamson who told me
a couple projects where there is an opportunity to feed 1700 children
who have NOTHING to eat each day. I am investigating this
as I feel very led to help! There is such a need here in
Africa to help these precious children!
We contacted Anita Cruel who has a foundation in
memory of her son.The William F. Cruel Jr. Foundation. She
is having a book drive to help purchase text books for the
school we have currently adopted. IMAGINE HAVING A SCHOOL
AND HAVING NO BOOKS! THANK GOD WE WERE ABLE TO HELP WITH
PENCILS AND PENS AND SCISSORS AND STUFF. BUT THESE PEOPLE
HAVE HAD NOTHING. JUST EMPTY ROOMS. AND THEY ARE HOT AT
THAT!! BUT FULL OF CHILDREN WHO WANT TO LEARN, WANT TO BE
TAUGHT, WILLING TO LISTEN,
AND WANT TO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF THEIR LIVES..
I
just have to help them!! They are soooooooooooooo
precious! And JESUS loves them! And I know you do toooo!
We surely need your help with this project. We are so
grateful to the Lemings who sent funds to buy the plates,
cups, and bowls so they can have at least one meal a day -
soup which my friend makes for them. THANK YOU EVA AND
HAROLD!!
Now
please consider helping at this Christmas time with TOYS
or help sponsor school supplies, this school has 200
children. There are soooo many children and so many
schools in this country who need help! I was given a
prophetic word in the year 2001 at Rick Del Rios
church in New York during our GROUND ZERO OUTREACH, that
GOD was going to show me a need in Africa. It would be
like with a big telescope and He would focus on that need,
and I would see it. Then I
would tell it to other people so they can help, are you
one of them???
Before my daughter went to Heaven she visited the townships
here and said how she wished she could help the children -
she loved the children here. Our TREASURES FOR TOTS AND
